What Is Curing?
After you apply the ink to your shirt, it needs to be properly cured to make sure that the ink won't wash out of the shirt. Curing is the process where the ink dries and bonds to the shirt fabric. Usually the ink needs to reach the temperature of 250-330 depending on the type of ink you are using. There are many ways to "cure" a shirt... you can use a heat press, heat gun, flash dryer, or conveyer dryer.
When screen printing from home, the most common way is by using a heat gun and heat press.
What Is Warp Drive And Should I Use It?
Do you use White Comet Waterbased ink? Do you struggle with cracking and fading? Do you have a hard time getting your ink all the way up to 320 degrees? Using warp drive will be a game changer for you.
Warp Drive lowers the cure temp to 250 degrees instead of 320. When you are curing with a heat press or flash dryer, you are able to get it to 250 in a faster amount of time. This will speed up your production time AND your ink will most likely cure better with warp drive in it. It is an extra insurance that your ink will be cured properly and will help it not fade or crack as bad.
Take this course and you will get all of the information you need on how to use it and have a complete cure with a heat press.
What To Expect:

Our goal is to save you money and time!
When we first started, we both spent over a thousand dollars on methods and products we didn't need. We also put in countless hours of trying to figure out how to screen print from home. We couldn't afford all of the fancy equipment, and the resources to help us learn with the equipment we did have, were slim. With lots of trial and error, and skimming the internet for what little we could find, we eventually found our system and we are very confident with it. With hundreds of positive reviews on our shirts we can tell you the system works!
Now we want to share our methods with you. We hope these courses will be just what you need to start printing confidently!
